The first major clue is the aroma of our warming Glühwein. The smell of cinnamon, cloves and oranges with its deep, fruity fragrance permeates throughout our entire café. Another hint is the decorations not just lining Ski Run Boulevard but also our patrons AND our restaurant. The part that really warms our hearts is that we’ve become THE place for family, friends and co-workers to meet and celebrate the holidays.

Holiday Parties and Gift Exchanges OH MY!

One of the things we offer to celebrate the holidays is a chance for local businesses to throw their holiday parties in our loft upstairs. This year’s menu includes items like:

  • Herb crusted prime rib with horseradish cream
  • Porcini mushroom and truffle ravioli with browned butter, tomato and brandy cream sauce

Besides holiday parties, we’ve also seen a lot of people use the Blue Angel Café as their place to exchange a gift over a glass of wine or one of our signature dishes.

Customers Decorate Themselves

We love all the parties and gift exchanges but we’ve noticed another cool trend happening over the holidays… people decorating themselves! From wearing mistletoe broaches to the classic ugly Christmas sweaters, it’s fun to see what people come in dressed as. Heck, some even make it a friendly competition.

Regardless if you dress up or not, it’s just nice to see people walk in with jolly spirits and being a bit extra kind to one another. From all of us at Blue Angel Café, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
