The “original” stroll began in Nantucket nearly forty years ago to give locals an opportunity to shop at local stores, get together, and celebrate the town. In that same spirit, the first Ski Run Holiday Stroll will be happening in South Lake Tahoe. Houses and stores will be decorated with festive yuletide decorations up and down Ski Run Blvd AND it will be an opportunity for children and adults alike to get into the holiday cheer.
Here are a couple exciting things that will be happening across Ski Run Blvd to get your holiday spirit started:
Strolling Christmas Carolers
Up and down Ski Run Blvd there will be carolers singing holiday classics. If that wasn’t enough, South Lake Tahoe’s own award-winning Blue Ribbon Choir will also be performing.
Santa Claus will show up!
Santa might have a busy schedule at the North Pole, but he’s made sure to set aside some time to visit. He’ll be at Chimayo’s restaurant between 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm for photographs and to hear what the little ones want this Christmas.
Be sure to stop by Blue Angel!
To celebrate the first ever Ski Run Holiday Stroll, we’re offering an awesome list of deals:
Kids eat for $1
If Santa showing up next door wasn’t enough… kids will also be able to eat for a buck!
FREE hot chocolate
What’s the best way to keep warm while meandering your way up and down Ski Run Blvd? Hot chocolate! Stop by and get a cup of hot chocolate on us.
FREE face painting
You might be decorating your house, so why not decorate your kiddos as well. We will be offering free face painting.
If you need something a bit “stronger” than hot chocolate, we’ll also be serving our fresh, homemade Gluhwein for only $6.
